Firefox/Internet Explorer – Quick Zoom in and Zoom out

Here are the shortcuts to zoom in/zoom out in firefox and IE.

Ctrl++ -> Zoom In
Ctrl+- -> Zoom Out
Ctrl+0 -> Reset

Another way is to hold Ctrl key and use mouse scroll up and down to zoom in and zoom out.

Zooming Firefox vs IE

There are minor differences

  • Once you have zoomed in/out, the setting stays same for any website/webpage you visit in IE, while in Firefox it stays same for only a particular website domain/sub-domain.
  • Once you restart the web browser, IE resets the zooming, while firefox remembers the setting for the website.

    I would like to have the zoom in & zoom out when printing e mail and articles. My Husband has to use Large Print to read stuff. Is there a way you can help?
