One more reason to use Google apps

Google finally launched Google sites (earlier called Jotspot). You can create simple and easily editable websites using Google sites. The service is well integrated with other Google apps like Calendar, Docs and Spreadsheet. Each apps account gets 10GB in free storage. You can invite other users for collaboration, keep your site private, share with few people or publish it for the world to view.

It has been really long wait. Google acquired Wiki based web service Jotspot October, 2006 and missed many anticipated deadlines to re-launch Jotspot. But the service was finally launched on Feb 27. Google has added Google sites to existing apps account.

There seems to be some bad press about Google Sites pointing to Lack of features. But for a free service, Google Sites is amazing and extremely easy to use. Google will probably add more features after initial reviews
