Asset History Sheet is a report for displaying asset history data segregated by Transaction types (Rather group of transaction types) to track the transactions for an asset such as Acquisitions, Retirements, Transfers etc. The Layout can be configured as per the requirement.
History Sheet Version
History Version controls the report output and layout. While running the report, you can specify different History sheet version. Standard SAP comes with many versions. You can also create custom History sheet version as per your requirement. The version key should start with X, Y, Z to avoid overridden by SAP upgrade or enhancement.
00 – Values at start of Fiscal Year
99 – Values at end of Fiscal Year
01-80 – Postings during Fiscal Year
00 and 99 are required columns. You can define other columns as per requirement. Maximum columns allowed are 10.
History Sheet Group
History sheet Group are assigned to relevant position in History sheet version. SAP comes with all the required History Sheet Group for Standard History sheet versions. You can define Custom History sheet group, if you want to assign certain transaction types to custom History sheet group to use in Custom History sheet version. You can assign Custom groups to transaction type in Transaction type settings.
