Yahoo and Microsoft announced a search deal. Bing (from Microsoft) becomes search engine behind Yahoo. Yahoo gets the ad revenue share and saves money not having to build search. Cuil, a New Search Engine, launched today claiming to be better and more comprehensive than Google. Cuil is taking a different and refreshing approach to search. Search results are displayed in columns with more summaries of search results (downside being fewer results per page). Related searches are shown in tabs. Categories are also shown to fine tune results. Cuil has arguably found a way to index web for lower cost and that way they can index more pages faster than current search engines. Read More »
