Enhanced Bookmarking – Using Star button in location bar, you can now quickly add bookmarks, tag and file them. Tagging helps you manage and find bookmarks.
Smart Location bar – Location bar now suggests website as you type, based on browsing history, tags, recency and frequency of visits.
Improved Security – Firefox 3 has made a few usability changes to provide a more secure browsing experience. You can click on the favicon in the location bar to see site information such as who owns the site. If site uses encrypted access, the favicon will turn blue (example http://mail.yahoo.com/). If site uses EVSSL certificate, the favicon will turn green and will show name of the company (example https://www.paypal.com/). If Firefox hits a phising site, a whole warning page is displayed.
Simplified Add-on installations – No need to visit web to find and install add-ons. Now, you can get list of recommended add-ons and feedback etc right inside firefox and install them. Individual plug-ins can now be disabled from add-on manager.
Better Download Manager – You can now easily search downloaded files from Download manager. You can right click on any download to open it, copy the link or remove it from Download manager.
Zooming full webpages – Zoom in and Zoom out whole webpages (including text, images everything on the pages). You can reset the zooming anytime.
