Yahoo Webmaster Tools

While Google and MSN have Webmaster tools account to share website statistics and information with webmasters, Yahoo does not have Webmaster tools account. Well, at least Yahoo does not call it Webmaster tools account.

Who is a Webmaster?
Webmaster is a person responsible for maintaining a website. For a large website, this could be a person managing many web developers and web designers. For a small website or blog, this could be website owner or blogger.

What are Webmaster Tools?
Webmaster tools let a webmaster access and analyze information, statistics, and issues about website. Webmasters can see useful information such as Search Engine Rankings, Pages indexing, Keywords information, External and internal links to website. Webmaster can than use the information to take corrective actions.

What is a Webmaster Tools Account?
A Webmaster Tools Account let webmasters access information about website and than let them take actions to help Search Engine crawl and index website in better way and fix certain errors. Webmaster need to verify ownership of the website by uploading a file or adding a Meta tag in the code. After that, actions can be taken such as adding a sitemap to help Search Engine index all the pages.

What is Yahoo Webmaster tools account called?
While Google and MSN call the account Webmaster tools account, Yahoo call it Site Explorer account. It just takes few minutes to add the website to yahoo, and it is totally worth the time.

    Thanks. But it seems that Google is better of in crawling websites. Most of the pages found in the sitemap have been indexed by Google. However, this is not the case with Yahoo. How to improve? Any idea?

    Hello! There,
    I have 4-5 websites and also I’m doing SEO campaign for those websites, And I’m following all of- page (Link building methods). Yes of course I’m on #1 on google with my targeted all keywords.Here my question is what the problem with yahoo? still it’s not cached by yahoo!
