Sending Fax for free online

While the need for sending fax is down significantly in last few years, there are still times when we need to send fax. But there is no need to invest in expensive Fax Machine. You can send fax on line with few clicks.

My Favourite service to send free fax is Faxzero. All you need is an email id and Receiver’s fax number.

Things to keep in mind
  • Free internet fax service is ad-supported. So Receiver will see ads on cover page (Something to keep in mind if you are sending professional or business fax).
  • Doc, PDF and Xls files are supported. You can also type text (or copy and paste) on the website.
  • There is a limitation of maximum 3 pages per file and maximum 2 faxes per day.
  • Only US and Canadian fax numbers are allowed.

Here is how it works.

Step1 - You enter your name, your email id, receiver's name and receiver’s fax number on Upload your document (PDF, doc or xls). Enter confirmation code (very common these days to avoid spam). Send fax.

Step2 - After a while, you will get a confirmation email. Click on confirmation email (Faxzero will attempt to send, only when you click on the confirmation email).

Step3 - When your fax has been successfully sent, you will receive an email confirmation. If Faxzero failed to deliver your fax after 5 attempts, you will receive a delivery failure notification email. Check if you entered Receiver’s fax number correctly, if fax failed.

The only problem with FaxZero is that only covers US, Canada and Puerto Rico. If you need send Fax to any other country, than FaxZero will not be able to serve you. Good news is that there are few other alternatives you can use.

myfax - myfax is similar service. Good thing is it covers 40+ countries as compared to only 3 countries in FaxZero.

HelloFax - HelloFax is another similar service. It covers 70+ countries as compared to only 3 countries in FaxZero.

The only disadvantage of above free internet services is that they will place ads on your fax.

What if I don't want to show ads and still want to send free fax?

Internet fax is great. However you need to pay for sending fax. Free service (such as Faxzero) places ads on the cover page, which looks unprofessional.

Are you looking to send ad free fax but do not want to invest in Fax machine and Software? You don’t have to. You can send fax from PC. Most of us don’t realize that we have a powerful fax machine built into our PC.

To send fax from your PC, You need your PC’s inbuilt fax modem, phone line and fax software. You probably already have all these. You can then send fax using your scanner or directly from PC. Phone charges (Local or Long distance, based on your calling plan) will apply.

Just hook up your phone line to your PC and follow Instructions for setting and sending fax.

  1. is another website that lets user send free fax online to the US and Canada. User can either text or upload a PDF/Word file to fax. Plus, it does not add Ads to the fax, which makes it more suitable for faxing formal documents.

  2. Thanks for letting us know! Its feel very pleasure when you send faxes for free of costs. ;)

  3. Hi there Dear, are you genuinely visiting this site regularly, if so after that you will without doubt take nice knowledge.
